check-in
All competitors are required to check in at Rose Lehrman Art Center on Friday August 2nd between 4:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Check-in will be permitted on the day of the show only if prior arrangements with the promoter have been made.

eligibility
Amateur - All amateur athletes must have current NGA card. ***NGA memberships may be purchased prior to check-in or at check-in/registration. All athletes must be 7 years drug free.
PRO - All Pro athletes must have a current NGA Pro card and be in good standing to be qualified to compete. Pro athletes from other organizations that the NGA recognizes are welcome to compete in NGA Pro shows. However, through the NGA Office, the athlete must present proof of their Pro status and purchase an NGA Pro Card. This must be done prior to check-in day. All athletes must be 7 years drug free.
screening policies
This is a natural (drug-free) competition. All competitors must meet eligibility criteria listed in the NGA Drug Testing Guidelines in order to participate. Prior to registering competitors should review these procedures and the list of banned substances, which are posted on the National Gym Association website. (LINK)
All competitors are required to be polygraph tested prior to competing. Additional information regarding polygraph testing for this show will be announced closer to show date.
backstage policy
A maximum of one trainer per competitor is allowed backstage. Any trainer must purchase a trainer pass, which is good for general admission and back stage access. If anyone who is not a participant in the event is found backstage without a trainer’s pass, they will be escorted out of the building.
Trainer pass cost - $100, available at check-in or the day of the show from the promoter. Cash only.

Be sure to review applicable category guidelines on National Gym Association website (link) to ensure awareness of judging criteria and proper form for mandatory poses for NGA contests.
There will be expediters backstage who will be advising competitors when they should be getting ready and when they should be getting lined up to go out on stage. Be certain you know who the expediters are and follow their directions.
Competitors must be fully covered if ever entering the auditorium seating area. Exposed body areas that can allow tanning agent to stain seating cloth is to be avoided. Please be very careful!
Please show respect for the venue and promoters by taking precautions to remain on paper/plastic protected areas whenever tanning, oiling, or "pumping up". Do not stray beyond protected areas.
Food and drink is not permitted in the auditorium. Contest participants should keep any coolers, etc. in the backstage prep area.
Alcohol is not permitted on the premises.
